Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipsticks Swatches

These are Maybelline's most moisturizing lipstick. You don't need to apply chapstick underneath these lipsticks. They also contain SPF ingredients that protect your lips from UV rays. Even though these lipsticks provide the most moisture, I only own three of them because I don't like the majority of colors that this line offers. Most of them are bright reds, plums, and shimmery copper/browns. I'm into real nudes & pale pinks so I have Nude Blush, Windsor Rose, and Sugar Plum Ice.

Nude Blush: Not really a real nude color but a soft and wearable pinky-brown that is a MLBB (my lips but better) color. My favourite! This is my second tube. It has no shimmer and is very pigmented.

Windsor Rose: Blue-pink color with no shimmer. I dab this color on top of GOSH's darling and it's absolutely soft and dolly.

Sugar Plum Ice: Lustre, Pale, Peachy-Pink with silver shimmer. This is really cute. A little goes a long way though. I applied too much of this at one time and ended up looking like the Tin Man's girlfriend. Silver clashes with warm skin tones so use it sparingly folks.

Overall, I highly recommend these lipsticks because I believe they are the best in the drugstore department. I only wish they had more colors that I like. I also forgot to mention that they are very cheap! I bought all of mine for $3 CAD on sale. It's a STEAL! :)

PRETTY IN PINK: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks Swatches

I actually already review these lipsticks here. They are creamy, pigmented, and last for a good amount of time. For those of you who claim that they smell like playdough most likely got a bad tube because all of mine smell like coconut and are very smooth in consistency. How did I come to this conclusion? Well, I bought Nearly There and returned it because it smelled like playdough and was hard and rubbery upon application! It was probably sitting on the shelf for a while.

The pinks and neutrals from this line goes great with my skin tone (tanned/olive complexion) and here are some swatches for your viewing pleasure.

Born With It: My favourite. A lustre pale pink so it is somewhat sheer and shimmery on my lips. Nonetheless, it is soft and really pretty.

Pink Please: Pale blue-pink with no shimmer. Some might say that this particular color is over-rated. It's also a hit or miss depending on your skin tone. When I first put it on my lip, I thought it was way too pinky but it grew on me and now I love it!

Plaza Pink: Plummy blue-pink with no shimmer. This is a nice darker color that is more mature in my opinion.

Warm Me Up: This pink is classified as one of their Neutral colors. It's almost like Plaza Pink but with less of a blue tint and more of a brown-earthy undertone.

Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase because I wear these lippies all the time :)

REVIEW: Burt's Bees Radiance Skin Care

I think just about everyone has a Burt's Bee Beeswax lipbalm. I myself have about four of their lip products and love it. With that being said, I decided to take a plunge and try their skin care products. Prices vary from store to store but I bought each item for about $25 CAD.

What makes these products interesting is that they are made of 99.02% natural ingredients. All products in the Radiance line contain a substance called Royal Jelly which is made by worker bees to feed to the QUEEN BEE who grows significantly larger and lives 60 times longer than a working bee!!! This substance is packed with 134 nutrients which includes 17 amino acids, pollen, b-complex vitamins, as well as vitamins A,C,D and K. Now just imagine what this stuff can do for your skin!

Burt's Bee Radiance Night Creme with Royal Jelly

This claims to improve your complexion, reduce/prevent fine lines, and make your skin radiant. Royal Jelly nourishes your skin and firms it, delaying the aging process. This night cream is sticky during application but after a minute it completely absorbs into my skin. I have dry skin and this does not provide enough moisture for me. I've been using this on and off for a month (switching between Philosophy Hope In a Jar) and I really can't say anything bad about it. My skin does seem more radiant and this does not cause me to break out which seems to be the case with most night creams. I highly recommend this creme for people with normal skin. Good stuff.

Burt's Bee Radiance Day Lotion with SPF 15 and Royal Jelly

This claims to moisturize, nourish, and protect your skin from harming UVB/UVA rays. I had high hopes for this because it contains physical sunscreens but unfortunately, this was a complete miss for me. Not only was this not moisturizing but my skin does not absorb this product. The titanium dioxide didn't make my face look white or ashy but this really felt like old-school sunscreen on my face. With today's technology, we are able to micronize chemicals! My favorite facial sunscreens all contain micronized sunscreen ingredients that makes application easy and the finish... perfect (i.e. MY HG - Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream). This felt so waxy and sticky on my skin but I kept it on for an hour just to be fair. Soon after, I couldn't take it so I wiped it off with a damp paper towel and instead of melting off, the lotion rolled up into waxy residue. I used it two more times and the same thing happened. I guess that just because a product is made from natural ingredients doesn't necessarily mean it's great.

Burt's Bee Radiance Eye Cream with Royal Jelly

This claims to make your eyes radiant and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This is a thick eye cream and when applied, it is waxy and does not absorb immediately. However, when I wake up in the morning, the skin around my eyes feel firm and soft. I don't see any improvement in my dark circles after a month's use but then again I haven't found any eye cream that can eliminate dark cirlces! I don't like that it comes in a jar but overall it's a nice cream that works for firming delicate skin.

Nee's First Fashion Post + NOTW

Current favorite nail polish: OPI- Hawaiian Orchid
Such a pretty pale barbie pink! You only need 2 coats to achieve the color of the bottle. I added Out the Door top coat and the color didn't chip on me for 3 weeks! Mind you, I don't do any heavy duty work with my hands.

Last month, I was sent clothing from hotmiamistyles.com. At first I thought all the clothing were clubbing wear but I looked through and found some cute things that I could wear day to day. Here are two of the dresses that I loved most from the haul.

More pics on my youtube channel :D

You guys should check the website out, they just put some more nice clothes that weren't available for me at the time.

Cute Guess espadrille/wedge sandals goes with almost anything I wear. The black straps makes it classy and the straw woven platform makes it very casual! Ooooh

Yeah, the wedges look small because I'm a size 5.5! My height and my feet stopped growing when I was 14 years old. So unfortunate for me because by the time I'm 50, I will only be 4 feet tall!!!
